Goal: To redesign the website of a non-profit organization in 48 hours.

Role: Worked as part of a team to determine the user problems and solutions, website layout, style guides, and the looks of individual web pages.

Background

This project was part of Syracuse University’s Pixels and Print, an annual workshop in which design students work in teams to rebrand for nonprofit organization. For the 2022 workshop, Syracuse worked with an organization called Move Along, which was planning a rebrand to the name CNY Adaptive Sports. The organization facilitates adaptive athletics for people with and without disabilities.

I was on the UI/UX team, which was responsible for redesigning the organization’s website. The first step of the process was identifying what users would need to do with the website, and how to allow users to use the website the way they need to. Then wireframes were made, and the ideas from the best wireframes were composited into one site draft in Figma. The next step was incorporating the logos, fonts, and colors determined by the print team. The last day involved putting finishing touches on the site and making it look cohesive. The site was designed completely on Figma by the end of the workshop. Below are images of the prototype version developed on Figma by the team of designers.
